He said: Served chilled, not icy cold. Crystal clear dark oat straw color. Light overripe pear and orange aromas. Creamy, medium body, with just a light acid mouth feel. Intense flavors of ripe pear and hints of citrus; with a lingering finish and just a tad of tartness and mineral. WOW, this was MUCH better than I expected!!! It was GREAT with the sardines…and probably any other fish or seafood. This fits our definition of a “Quality Wine at a Bargain Price, IN SPADES!!!.
She said: I love red riojas for their robustness and this white Rioja for its creaminess. I could not detect much of an aroma but found the taste full of flavor and delightfully smooth. It’s medium body and acidity went well with the sardine quiche and salad. We bought this at a very good sale price because it’s self life is short. But it is a quality wine and I would buy it again. This wine grew on me as I sipped…I went from thinking it “Ho Hum” to wanting more when the last sip was gone. Delicious!
