He said: Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear, wheat straw color. Intoxicating lemon zest aroma with hints of floral and fresh cut pine. Soft and lush entry, with lots of body and strong mineral mouth-feel; clean citrus and peach flavors and a very long dry finish that has a tiny up-lift close to the end. This is truly a WOW (in bold caps) wine. It was aromatic, flavorful and the stony mineral added a memorable character to the wine. The hand and tight fitting glove pairing with the scallops baked in lemon-butter sauce was a perfect wine/food marriage…it just doesn’t get any better. A memorable treat we will not forget!!!
She said: Elegant, refined and smooth are the first three words that come to mind when I first tasted this wine. The bouquet although mild, sets the stage for the tasty citrus flavors that roll over the palate. The dryness and acidity made it a wow pairing with the dinner and the long flavorful finish ended with a pleasant tartness. This is one of those wines that is so good that a sip can be savored for a long time. A superb wine for a special dinner.
