Tasting:
-
Chilled before drinking. Clear oat straw color. Damp basement, apples, nuts, nutmeg and other sweet spice aromas with occasional hints of sweet Confederate jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) blossoms. Smooth, slightly creamy and tart mouthfeel, medium body and 150-grit texture. Quite pronounced apple, fresh chopped walnuts, ripe Sickel pear, saline mineral and glimmers of tropical fruit flavors. Crisp acidity that gave an uplifting fresh taste without being overpowering and a long tart finish that had a wonderful mineral aftertaste. WOW, quite an interesting and elegant white wine. With its wide range of fruit flavors is was simply captivating and paired with the cranberry chicken it was MEMORABLE.
