He said: Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear, light oat straw color with tints of green. Apple and lemon aromas with more than a little earthy overtone. Solid medium-body with a touch of creaminess; the taste was dry, green apple and lime flavors, slightly tart and very long. Excellent paring with the dinner, excellent sipping alone and in a nut-shell, an EXCELLENT white Corsican wine that’s a good value. As or warmed up the earthy tartness became more prevalent and the richness of the citrus fruit flavors and acidity really gave the finish some fireworks!!! A DELICIOUS and REFRESHING Vermentino.
She said: Clear, light greenish yellow color. Gentle aroma with hints of earthiness that opens up more on the palate. With medium body, the wine was dry, smooth and with a hint of creaminess. The finish was a long and full of flavor. It went especially well with the garlic mashed potatoes and the parsley/orange carrots, not so well with the oregano that flavored the chicken. A QUALITY wine that’s a good value at $18.00.
