Tasting:
-
Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear, light wheat straw color. Fresh aromatics with dominating ripe melon and tropical fruit; secondary apple, citrus and Confederate Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) blossom aromas. Silky Smooth, creamy mouthfeel, medium body and a 600-grit texture. Intense flavors of mandarin orange, apricot, quince, tart lemon, pineapple and ripe honey dew melon surrounded by bitterness and a dusty mineral background. Edgy acidity and a really nice long spicy/citrus finish that ends bitter. Very refreshing and enjoyable Italian white. Delicious paired with the chicken an apricot sauce and a very pleasant sipping wine after the dinner. We called it an alluring white that was an excellent value.
