He said: Chilled before opening. Clear, golden color. Ripe pear and a touch of honeysuckle floral aromas. Velvety, very slightly creamy, unusual body for such a light taste; wonderful freshness, over ripe apple and honeydew melon flavors, than a bit of tartness and a long crisp acidic finish that leaves a creaminess in the mouth. An easy drinking wine made from 100% Trebbiano grapes that were grown using sustainable organic farming and fermented in handmade pottery amphorae…pretty unique wine!!! Unadorned, but refreshing Italian white that’s a good value.
She said: Clear, deep golden yellow color. An odd wine because it lacks significant aroma and flavors yet is a pleasing wine with the dinner or sipping. The mouth-feel was relatively full, very smooth, and somewhat creamy. The finish was long and notable for the acidity it brings into the mouth. I would buy it again for a mild flavored dinner that needed a background wine because at $13.95 it is hard to beat in regard to its mouth-pleasing texture and value.
