Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear oat straw color. VERY aromatic musty melon, apple, lemon, wet grass and mineral aromas. Smooth, very slightly creamy and fresh mouthfeel, light to medium body and a 150-grit texture. A wide range of flavors including: Granny Smith apple, quince, lemon & lime and lemon grass. Medium crisp acidity and an huge up-turning finish that was filled with citrus fruit, mineral, ginger and even hints of tropical fruit tastes. WOW, WOW not your garden variety Sauvignon Blanc…every sip introduced new tastes that really created an outstanding wine-drinking experience. Paired with the cold soup it added fresh zest and with the tuna dreams it created a hand and glove marriage of symbiotic tastes that were better together than each on its own. Without food it was simply a delightful sipping wine. In a few words we really enjoyed it and thought it was an unusual and noteworthy Sauvignon Blanc.
