He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, very light lemon yellow color. The wine starts with a wonderful ripe apricot, guava and a touch of lemon aromas. Very smooth, with a slight creaminess and a delicious taste of peach and apricot with hints of citrus and mineral. The finish was long and there was a perfect balance with the subtle acidity providing a fresh crispness with the fruit flavors. Triple WOW for me!!! This was a real surprise…a domestic Roussanne that was clearly noteworthy and at $23.95 it’s a good value too. As it warms up the nuances of flavors became more pronounced and the soft creaminess more evident. Highly recommended and a local Vineyard that goes to the top of the list for our next drive north. This is OUTSTANDING California Roussanne.
She said: Golden yellow, clear, with steadily moving thin legs. Knock your sox off aroma with lots of stone fruit and floral accented by a bit of citrus. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy with a medium body and layers of fruit flavor. The finish was long and carried through with the fruitiness. It went well with the dinner and even better as a sipping wine after dinner as it warmed up. An excellent high quality wine and a great choice for the dinner.
