He said: Sparkling clear light yellow color. Wonderful strong pear bouquet that carries into the taste and through the finish. Long crisp and a tad dry finish. This is very different from German Rieslings, there is not even a hint of sweetness. Also, we started with a chilled bottle, and as the wine warmed up it just got better and better. We’re not Riesling drinkers; however the taste and dry crispness of this is outstanding. DO NOT chill this wine and your in for a real treat.
She said: Medium golden yellow color. Strong aroma and flavor of pear. Creamy smooth, medium body, relatively dry with a bit of tartness in the finish. This wine was bitter with the chili but was delightful with the salad and developed even more positively as it warmed up.
