He said: Sparkling pale straw color. Nice ripe melon bouquet. Taste that is smooth as silk, full of fruit and rich in texture. A finish that is medium dry. This is a delicate wine that is low in acidity and complex in flavors. A GREAT Pinot Gris and I think it’s well worth the $28.00. This may be the best Pinot Gris I’ve ever had!!! However, because of it’s price we will continue to search for an inexpensive Pinot Gris (that will have less quality) for our rating of a “Quality wine at a bargain price”.
She said: Light golden yellow color. Fruity aroma and flavor, dry but mellow, medium body, long finish that is almost perfumed. Delicious Pinot Gris but pricey.
Comments: This Pinot Gris may not be available in wine stores; however it can be purchased directly from the vineyard (http://www.almarosawinery.com/) and shipped to most states.
