He said: Chilled before serving. Almost clear, just a tad of yellow-green color. Very light melon and citrus aromas. Light citrus taste and a fairly short length tart finish that gets slightly bitter at the very end. If you ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio in a Roman piazza this is what the waiter would bring…and we have done this often; but sitting here in North Carolina it’s a whole lot different. With out the piazza ambiance I would say it’s “not bad” at $8.79 (6.5 euros)…a lot cheaper than in the piazza!!!
She said: Delicious! Perhaps it brings back memories of sipping wine as the world goes by in a piazza in Italy, but I would buy this again in a flash. It has a light bouquet but a thirst quenching quality that suits the end of an afternoon of sightseeing or other pleasant activity. Typically salty snacks go well with it but it can stand alone with its citrus flavor that evolves into a creamy texture, but is still crisp. The finish is not long but who cares? the journey getting is delightful
Comments: We strongly agree on the memories the wine brings back; but not so closely on the quality of the wine.
