He said: Served chilled. Almost colorless. No bouquet or aromas. Sweet taste with hints of citrus. Slightly bitter short finish, with hints of continuing citrus. Cheap Piniot Grigio is usually at least crisp…but not this one. This may have been the cheapest Pinot Grigio we’ve tasted…but it’s probably also the worst.
She said: If you are expecting a dry, crisp wine, forget it…this is not the wine for you. Little aroma, and only a little taste, sweet is the dominating characteristic. Not overly so, but enough so that crispness is out of the question. The body is medium, and it has a short finish with a nip of bitterness. We tasted it as a sipping wine and it was “drinkable” but not worth buying again. Even at this low price it’s not a bargain wine.
