Tasting:

He said: Opened 15-minutes before drinking. Clear, Very light lemon color. Light lavender and tropical fruit aromas. Silky smooth, slightly creamy mouth-feel with strong ripe apple and apricot taste with hints of vanilla. The finish was medium-length, slightly tart, velvety, lots of rich tropical fruit flavors and abundant acidity. Although there was a sweetness when drinking alone, it has lots of well-integrated acidity and was spectacular with the spices in the chicken dinner. We tasted this at a Caviste wine pairing dinner and liked it very much, but our pairing with the mild Asian dinner was OUTSTANDING!!! This gets VERY high marks from me and it’s simply a delicious Pinot blanc and GREAT paired with Asian food.

She said: This is an out of this world experience with the Thai chicken. The mild aroma burst forth into a delicious ripe fruit flavor that highlighted the peanut flavor of the sauce and complemented its slickness. As a sipping wine it was a tad sweet for my taste, but was a good experience on the palette with its medium body, creaminess, smoothness, and mild but savory flavors. The finish was flavorful but a bit short with the sweetness persisting. I would buy it again in a flash for this dinner.
