He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, light golden color. Citrus and pear aromas. Smooth, creamy, Trocken dry and medium body; citrus (especially lemon), apple and pear taste with a long chalky mineral and slightly tart finish that just comes alive with the crisp acidity. Absolutely delicious with the salmon and I’ll bet it would be just as good with a variety of foods. The citrus flavors and powerful mineral really made the wine special. EXCELLENT Pinot Blanc that is very food friendly.
She said: Light golden color, clear, fat irregularly spaced steadily moving legs. Nice citrus aroma leads to a flavorful taste, that’s smooth, dry, acidic and slightly creamy. The finish is long, mild and ends with a touch of mineral and tartness. The wine was delicious with the dinner and the Pinot Blanc added another dimension to the grilled salmon with orange sauce and I would like to find a good Pinot Blanc that fits into our bargain category.
