Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, pale oat straw color. Light Confederate Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) blossoms, tropical fruit and citrus aromas. Silky smooth, dry with just the tiniest trace of effervescent mouthfeel, medium body and a 400-grit texture. Tart lemon, yeast, pineapple and floral flavors. Nice crisp acidity and a long lemon and Florida grapefruit tasting finish that goes on and on and finally ends with a mineral-lemon taste. WOW, WOW, what an interesting and refreshing Muscat. As the wine slid over the tongue the tastiness changed and developed and each sip became an adventure in identifying new and different flavors. And yes, this wine really did taste floral.!!! Excellent paired with the chicken flavors, but it has huge potential as a summer sipping wine with it’s outstanding understated and refreshing qualities. A FANTASTIC three thumbs up wine.
