Chilled before drinking. Clear, wheat straw color. Funky barnyard, citrus, tropical fruit and wonderful spicy aromas. Smooth, a touch of creaminess and spicy mouthfeel, medium to full body and a 200-grit texture. Lots of lemon, quince and ripe melon flavors with little dabs of cinnamon. Nice crisp acidity and a long dry, zesty finish that’s filled with a very unusual mineral taste. The aftertaste leaves you with a feeling of just having eaten a handful of crisp nuts. WOW it was fantastic with the quiche, but we loved it sipping without food. The unique spicy taste and mineral were really noteworthy. We called it both an elegant and spirited white wine.
