Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, light wheat straw color with a tiny tint of green. Serene apple, peach, citrus and grassy aromas. Smooth, slightly yeasty and creamy, but VERY invigorating mouthfeel, medium body and a 150-grit texture. Clean flavors of green apple, lemon, moist cut grass and water from a limestone spring. Plenty of bright acidity and a medium length mineral finish. Good with the very flavorful chicken and mushrooms, but drinking without food after the dinner it had a chalky mineral taste that electrified the flavors. It was very refreshing and mouthwatering from the chilled first pour through the room temperature last pour. We like mineral and this wine really had its share. A real mountain wine with its clean, fresh tastes and mineral core. We called it exultant wine that’s a fantastic value. We can’t understand why Jacquere wine is not more popular…it was a real treat!!!
