He said: Chilled before drinking. Potent floral aroma of blue lilac and roses. Smooth, slightly creamy mouth-feel with a taste that’s a marvelous mix of acidity & sugar, ripe fruit flavors and just a nip of spice as it ends. Just the right sweetness to pair well with the Thai chicken regardless of the amount of sriracha sauce heat. The distinctive Gewürztraminer floral aromatics, just enough acidity wrapped around the 0.5% residual sugar and rich ripe pear and tropical fruit flavors create a very delicious Gewürztraminer….and it’s without question a PERFECT pairing with a peanut sauce dinner. For us it was a great find that turned out to be a very good Gewürztraminer at an excellent price. Two thumbs up from me on this one!!!
She said: Clear, medium golden yellow color. Delightful typical floral aroma and a
fruity taste with a slightly creamy-smooth mouth feel. Pleasant acidity and medium long finish that had I hint of tartness at the end. This Gewürztraminer was absolutely delicious with the chicken even with the hot sauce. It was so good in fact I went back for seconds and thirds just because I enjoyed the wine/chicken/hot sauce combination so well. I would buy this again in a flash at $18 and pair it with any spicy peanut flavored dinner.
