He said: Slightly chilled before drinking. Almost colorless, just a slight tint of pale yellow. Strong floral aromas. Slight creamy mouth feel and dry taste and a lingering finish that ends slightly tart. Absolutely PERFECT with the Indian dinner…in fact the food and wine were in a wonderful concert together. It was good drinking alone after dinner. A two thumbs up from me on this one.
She said: How wonderful to enjoy this classic pairing with both an exquisite wine and divine curry! I wonder if there is a Gewurztraminer that I don’t like but I rejoice that such a good one was available tonight. Floral, floral and then more floral greeted the nose and palate. It’s smooth creamy texture and long tasty finish with a hint of grapefruit made it a stand-out. I wonder about the significance of its Alsace appellation.
