He said: Chilled before drinking. Slightly cloudy, light lemon color. GREAT rose pedal aroma that carries all the way through the finish. The taste was very slightly creamy, smooth and DRY (in BOLD CAPS); with strong pear and tropical fruit flavors and hints of honey (but it wasn’t sweet). All this and a finish that was very long and ends with a slight tart fruitiness. Paired very well with the slightly spicy dinner and was fantastic drinking alone as the wine just got better and better. This was opened about 20-minutes before drinking and it was better with each pour. It was clearly the best domestic Gewürztraminer we have had while in California. It tastes just like “real” Gewürztraminer from Germany and gets two thumbs up from me!!!
She said: Golden yellow, cloudy, numerous bubbles, well spaced thin steadily moving legs. Nice floral aroma led to a delicious mouthful of flavors. Mouthfeel was medium-light, dry, smooth and slightly creamy. The finish was long and carried the floral flavor to the end. Delicious with the Moroccan-style chicken and I would buy it again in a flash.
