Chilled before drinking. Clear, very light wheat straw color with strong a green tint. Quite aromatic with robust smoky aromas and lots of fresh squeezed lemon and Confederate Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) blossoms on a warm still evening. Very smooth dusty dry mouthfeel, medium body and a 150-grit texture. Tart lemon and lime, ripe Bartlett pear and lots of rich mineral flavors. Edgy acidity and a very tart California grapefruit finish. The combination of citrus and mineral taste with the piercing acidity really make this wine extraordinary. Good paired with the dinner, good sipping without food and we liked it very much. A unique fresh and lively wine from Hungry.
