Tasting:
-
Chilled before drinking. Clear, golden color. Aroma of fresh baked apple pie with hints of hyacinth blossoms at the end of every whiff. Tart and slightly sharp mouthfeel, solid medium body and a 100-grit texture. Very one dimensional cooked apple flavor. Gobs of edgy acidity and a medium-length tart, but stale tasting finish. VERY DISAPPOINTING Italian white wine. There was no oxidation tastes, but the wine tasted dull, dreary and exhausted. We expected light and crisp, but it had none of those characteristics. This was clearly not a wine we would recommend, but as we have said before, we will attempt to purchase another bottle in the hope that it’s different or better and we will review it again noting it as the “second bottle”.
