He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, golden yellow color. Rich pear, apple and quince aromas. Silky, slightly creamy mouth-feel; strong fruit and honey flavors, yet dry, slightly dusty and with a mineral finish. Absolutely delicious with or without food. The combination of savory fruit, lively acidity and smooth, dry texture create an exquisite blend of tactile sensation and flavors. It was Great Loire Valley Chenin Blanc.
She said: Clear, golden yellow color. A mild tropical fruit aroma intensified in the mouth and was complemented by ripe pear and honey with a medium body and creamy mouth-feel. It was dry, silky smooth and pleasantly acidic with citrus notes. The long finish continued the fruity flavors and the creamy mouth-feel. The wine was delicious with the dinner and especially the crab soup and shrimp. An excellent value at this price point.
