Chilled before drinking. Clear, dark oat straw color that’s getting close to amber. Ripe apple, tropical fruit, citrus and nutty aromas. Smooth, subtle and very dusty mouthfeel, solid medium body and a 200-grit texture. Robust Granny Smith apple, tart lemon, pineapple, honey and mineral flavors. Racy crisp acidity that really gives the wine an uptick and a long finish that’s filled with an intertwined combination of fresh apple and dusty mineral. And best of all, the mineral taste coats the mouth and goes on and on in the aftertaste. WOW, lots of flavorful zing and this wine pushes all the right buttons. We called it a NOTEWORTHY Chenin Blanc.
