Tasting:
He said: Light straw color. Sweet fruit bouquet. Strong vanilla taste, hints of tartness that extends into the finish. There is a bitterness in the finish. We have had earlier vintages of this Chardonnay and it was okay, but this 2011 was not a good value for the price.
She said: Mild fruity bouquet, followed by a mild vanilla flavor, medium body with moderate acidity and slightly bitter finish. Better Chardonnay available at this price.
