He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, golden color. Ripe pear and apple aromas with just a whiff of spring floral. Silky mouth-feel with abundant apple flavors. A long chalky mineral finish that leads to an extended dry mineral aftertaste. At only $12.60 this was a superb value white Burgundy. Clean, distinct flavors, great mineral, light oak and a acidity that’s slightly crisp and refreshing. It paired well with the dinner and was fantastic drinking alone after the dinner. A VERY NICE White Burgundy that’s an absolute BARGAIN.
She said: Clear, golden yellow color. Such a good wine at this price is hard-to-find! With its delicate fruity flavor and mouth filling fruit taste, the wine was an excellent choice for the mild Thai chicken. The mouth-feel was dry, medium bodied, slightly creamy and ever so smooth and delicious. The finish was long and flavorful, ending with a touch of tartness. At $12.60 this is a great bargain especially if you don’t want an abundance of oak, vanilla or buttery flavors. A lovely Chardonnay that would pair well with many dinners or enjoyable alone as a sipping wine.
