He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, very pale wheat straw color. Intense vanilla and wisps of ripe apple aromas. Silky entry, lots of fresh light limestone chalky body, just a hint of creaminess, and an “Oh WOW” savory fruit flavor. The finish carries this on through with citrus, acidity and a slight upturn of stone fruit flavors. This was a VERY SPECIAL Chardonnay. Intoxicating vanilla flavors, smooth texture that’s reserved for only the most noteworthy wines and a finish that just turns the wick all the way up to a crescendo that was above and beyond any expectation. We brought this bottle to California to have at a blind Old/New World Chardonnay wine tasting and although we didn’t drink it side-by-side with an equal California Chardonnay, I know it is in a class by itself!!! This was so far above “good” Chardonnay
She said: Clear, pale lemon yellow color. Fantastic Chardonnay from start to finish. A wonderful aroma lightly scented with vanilla leads to a burst of flavor in the mouth with more vanilla. With a medium body, a touch of creaminess, and a pervasive richness the wine was great pairing with the pesto chicken. The finish was long and continued the flavor to bring the wine to a beautiful conclusion. A total tasty treat and I want it to be seriously considered when an excellent Chardonnay is required for a very special dinner.
