He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear with just a slight pale yellow/green color. Abundant pear and melon with hints of peach and tropical fruit in the aroma. Smooth slightly crisp mouth-feel and a fairly full body with a touch of creaminess; ripe pear and melon flavors with a very long mineral finish that was just slightly tart at the end. WOW…at only $14.40 this is a nice Chardonnay. We first had it at a Kermit Lynch tasting at the Caviste Wine Shop and it was a favorite, we bought two bottles and when we opened the first one at home we knew it was a winner and ordered six more bottles from the Caviste. We almost ALWAYS drink a new wine every night with dinner so when we go back and buy multiple bottles of a wine it’s REALLY SPECIAL!!! This gets the official “QUALITY WINE AT A BARGAIN PRICE” rating from TastedOnline.com
She said: Clear and bright, pale yellow color with lots of thin irregularly spaced speedy legs. Some wines are bargains others are super bargains and this wine was a super bargain. How often do you get a delicate, fresh floral and fruit aroma and taste for $14? Add to that was a medium body touched with creaminess and fresh lemony flavors over the palate into the long flavorful finish that ended with the tiniest hint of tartness. Absolutely delicious! The wine went well with the dinner and was divine with a piece of pie crust swiped from a leftover quiche… probably due to the acidity of the wine. I knew from the first sip of the first bottle that this was a special wine and Ray bought multiple bottles…YEAH. I totally agree and think this is one of the all-time bargain Chardonnay wines.
