Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, very light oat straw color. Complex aromas of citrus, fresh cut oak wood, cinnamon and substantial hints of vanilla. Silky smooth, light and fresh mouthfeel, light to medium body and a 200-grit texture. Strong flavors of lemon, green apple, pear and a unique minerality. Pronounced edgy acidity and a long crisp, clean lemony finish. Unusually lean and fresh for a Chardonnay. Filled with easily identified flavors and superb balance that resulted in an outstanding pairing with the salmon. Very distinctive and delicious white Burgundy.
