He said: Dark ruby red color. Caramel aromas. Very rich, quite creamy, complex sweet honey and caramel taste that finishes with lots of acidity and a very long smooth finish. Although the sensation is fairly heavy sweet, the acidity actually creates dry tangy tastes at the end of each sip. And, although it’s not my favorite Madeira, I loved it…it’s delicious, easy drinking and a wonderful treat at the end of a special dinner.
She said: I would describe this Madeira as syrupy sweet and VERY delicious with the cookies. I didn’t think I would tolerate this much sweetness but I actually enjoyed the wine with the rich cookies. Another delicious Madeira that was a wonderful treat.
