He said: Clear, light brownish red color. Caramel aromas with hints of Sherry. Smooth, slightly creamy, a little nutty with toffee and caramel tastes. Lighter mouth-feel than other Madeira’s I’ve had and only moderately sweet but with quite a bit of acidity through the finish. Absolutely DELICIOUS and sooooooo easy drinking it just disappears!!!
She said: I don’t have a sweet tooth and am not overly fond of sweet wines but Madeira is special and so I gobbled up three different cookies as I sipped. YUM! The Rainwater Madeira was delicious and went very well with the white or dark chocolate on the cookies.
