Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear, very light wheat straw color. Light peach and rose blossom aromas. Smooth as silk with just the slightest hint of creaminess; layers of pineapple and other fruit flavors in the taste that get deeper with every sip. And, if that wasn’t enough a powerful long dry finish comes marching in with lots of crispness. This is an OUTSTANDING white blend. It paired perfectly with the tuna and was fantastic drinking alone after the dinner. It was a delicious, MEMORABLE white blend. We’ve had Tablas Creek wines before and REALLY liked them, now we can’t wait for a vineyard visit when we’re in California this summer.

She said: greenish yellow color, clear, thin well moving legs. Mild fruity aroma that led to a surprisingly complex taste accompanied by a smooth, dry mouth feel with slight creaminess that made it memorable. The finish was long and ended with a touch of pleasing tartness. The wine went very well with the dinner but was equally good sipping. I would buy it again and recommend it as a excellent buy at $19.
