Tasting:

Chilled before opening. Quite cloudy, wheat straw color (with sink-to-the-bottom soft brown lumps in the last two pours). Strong damp vegetative aroma (like alfalfa that was baled to green). Somewhat austere, medium body and 80-grit texture. Tart, tart, tart apple and melon taste. Bone dry with gobs of racy acidity all the way through the long slightly fruity finish. With both the terrible percipient and the extremely tart (almost sour) taste we both said this was very disappointing. It didn’t appear corked and we didn’t pour it down the sink, but to put it honestly we were both glad when the bottle was empty!!! A disappointing wine.
