Tasting:

Chilled before opening. Clear, wheat straw color. Ripe pear, lemon and Mock Orange (Philadelphus coronarius) blossom aromas. Vigorous, bright, medium body, with hints of creaminess and a 150-grit texture. Clean and zippy pear, green apple and lemon grass flavors with just a glimmer of fresh apricot. Significant crisp acidity and a long dry and dusty mineral finish. Super paired with the salmon and delicious sipping without food after the dinner. Because this wine didn’t have strong characteristics we didn’t have strong feelings about it…but maybe that’s the wrong approach…this was a GREAT wine and just because we drink a different wine every day with dinner doesn’t mean each wine has to wow the previous wines to be noteworthy. This was a SUPERB white wine…period!!! It gets a strong TastedOnlone.com three thumbs up rating and we really enjoyed it. An EXQUISITE, rich Pinot Blanc we would recommend in a heart beat.
