He said: Chilled before drinking. Pale orange-amber color. Unique and alluring heavy aromas of pineapple, caramel and honeysuckle with a nutty background. Full-bodied with a luscious silky smooth texture that was brimming with sweetness, but perfectly balanced by the abundant acidity. Rich, concentrated flavors of pineapple, dried tangerine and honey intertwined with a nuttiness that became more enthralling with each tiny sip. An expensive wine, a combination of opulent flavors and mouth-feel that was extraordinary and a MEMORABLE experience with each sip…it was a VERY SPECIAL TREAT.
She said: Clear, rosy brown color, with thin irregularly spaced rapidly moving legs. Sauternes is very special to me because it can make a modest desert into a treat. This one had a delicious aroma that lured me into the luscious caramel and fruit flavors and velvety mouth-feel. You only need a sip to enjoy the whole experience of tasting this wine so a little goes a long way. The wine was wonderful sipping alone and was superior to the desert. A fantastic desert wine!
