He said: Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear oat straw color. Strong ripe apple, honey dew melon and lots of damp earth, mushroom and crushed rock aromas. Very soft and light with a dry mouth-feel and lots of tropical fruit taste. Than a distinct VERY long finish that carries the fruit and mineral on and becomes slightly tart toward the end. What a refreshing wine…it’s VERY FRESH, the bouquet is noteworthy for a white wine, there is lots of acidity but it’s perfectly balanced and the light, easy drinking body simply makes it an unforgettable white wine. To top it off, I’m a sucker for a damp earth in the aroma, and this one has it in spades!!! At $16.20 this is delicious wine that’s a fantastic value.
She said: Light golden color, clear, with thin zippy legs. As Ray raved about the earthy aroma I smelled none but thought I detected a bit of fruitiness that lasted into the taste. Light bodied and dry yet full of flavor the wine delivered a long delicious finish. My over all impression was that the wine was light, clean, and delicious. A great buy at $16.20.
