He said: Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear, colorless with a silver glimmer. Intense lemon, green apple and fresh cut grass aromas. Smooth saline initial taste followed by a crisp, lemon, apple and pear taste with hints of tropical fruit that carry through an extended finish with a slightly tart ending. Great white wine bouquet, fresh from start to finish, persistent lemon and apple flavors, delicious crisp acidity and just enough mineral in the finish to really give it a great ending. Excellent pairing with the lemon and dill flavored fish and just enough tartness to make it end with finesse. VERY GOOD Albariño at a great price. (This was another of Tim Coles “Best Buy’s in the store” from the Woodland Hills Wine Company…and at only $16.95 we agree on this one too!!!)
She said: Clear, lemon yellow color. Wonderful lemon aroma starts the lovely experience of this one. Full of flavors, medium bodied, smooth, dry and the mouth-feel was rich. The finish was long with hints of lemon and mineral, ending with a touch of tartness. Good with the dinner, even the vegetables and a salad, and I would buy it again in a flash. An excellent value Spanish white at only $16.95.
