Tasting:
-
Chilled before drinking. Clear, wheat straw color with a slight green tinge. Strong fruity citrus, papaya and apricot aromas with hints of lily and doughy yeast. Very smooth, bitter mouthfeel, light body and a 200-grit texture. An abundance of flavors including: California grapefruit, lemon, apricot and quinine water. Filled with bright acidity and a long tart grapefruit tasting finish. Aromatic, lively, fresh and delicious Albariño with a bitter core that really gave it character. Very lean with prevailing fresh acidity and fruit flavors. We found it to be a delightful and versatile white wine.
