He said: Chilled before opening. Clear, very light lemon color. Light ripe apple and damp earth aromas. Wonderful, smooth as silk, light, bubbly mouth feel. Dry, fruity and mineral taste that ends with a long mineral finish. Delicious, refreshing and easy drinking Spumante. Sparkling wine is always festive!!!
She said: A gift from our eldest son, this wine is absolutely dreamy! It is light colored, clear, and has thin irregular legs that move quickly in spite of the 11.5% alcohol content. The bubbles are very small, unobtrusive, and hang in to the end. The bouquet is mild with hints of sweet fruits such as pear and peach. The flavor is dry, refreshing and light bodied with the same fruits leading the way into the long finish. The peanuts were good with the wine, but the wine was equally good alone and was so smooth and silky the glass was empty before I knew it. Very delicious and well worth the money.
