He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, Very light wheat straw color with greenish tones. Semi-sparkling. Floral and light damp earth aromas. Very nice bubbly mouth feel and intense honey and ripe apple taste that carries through a long finish. Outstanding with the pinini sandwich, especially the pineapple. Both the bubbles and lightness of the wine (only 5.5% alcohol) made it good with the food and drinking alone. A very nice Moscato D’Asti wine and a special treat with lunch…two thumbs up from me.
She said: Medium golden yellow, bubbly, no legs which perhaps reflects the 5.5% alcohol content. The aroma was fruity and has tropical fruit scents that blossom in the mouth. Semi-sweet, smooth, and almost creamy, the wine had a medium long sweet finish that fades away gently. I’m not a fan of sweet wines but I like this much more than most Rieslings and the only Rieslings I like are dry ones. Delicious with the panini sandwich.
Comments: Guest taster: Light lemon colored sparkling wine served with turkey, Swiss, pineapple panini. Aroma featured fruity notes, especially grapefruit, and meadows on a rainy day. The flavor was sweet and paired well with the pineapple. Somewhat creamy but not a long lasting finish.
