Chilled before drinking. Clear, pale wheat straw color with just a hint of pink tint. Yeasty aromas with whiffs of lemon, apple and honeysuckle blossoms. Refreshing with a delightfully effervescent mouthfeel, light body and a 400-grit-texture. Flavors of fresh baked bread right out of the oven, lemon, quince, a touch of tropical fruit and just a dash of bitters. Crisp acidity and a long bubbly finish with an underlying ginger taste. WOW, WOW, WOW, what an energetic and rousing sparkling wine. Although it looked still in the glass, the bubbles were strong all the way through the finish of the last pour. A combination of tastes that were full of vitality and the zesty mouthfeel really encourage another sip. This was FANTASTIC sparkling Chenin Blanc!!!
