He said: Served chilled. Clear and almost without color. Slightly earthy mineral aromas with hints of fresh bread cooking. Very bubbly, limestone and mineral taste with a tiny bit of tartness at the very end of the finish. Lively, GREAT mouth feel with the tiny bubbles and delicious chalky flavors…I LOVED it!!!
She said: When Ray suggested a bedtime treat of champagne I eagerly agreed and thought about caviar, strawberries and lobster. Having none of these on hand I settled for chocolate and it was a delicious accompaniment. The champagne was dry, crisp and flavorful with a lightness that lasted into the medium long finish. I totally enjoyed it and look forward to trying it with french fries or popcorn. Yes, you read that right; those are recommended accompaniments for champagne along with oysters, sushi and smoked salmon. Considering that “real”champagne is expensive this one is a bargain at $30.
