He said: Very light ruby red color. Strong earthy aromas of ripe current, red fruit and floral hints. Lots of minerality and red raspberry taste that goes on and on through the crisp, dry finish. Very smooth, FULL of flavor and lots of body for a Rosé wine. This is delicious with or without food and very easy drinking Rosé. It goes near the top of our recommend Rosé list.
She said: I can’t think of a wine I would rather have with this soup but to be honest the wine was better when the soup was gone. The soup hid the subtle flavors and minerality of the wine which blossomed as the meal progressed. Unlike other Syrahs that show off their red and black berry flavor, full body and considerable tannins, this wine is mellow and smooth with no astringency. Light in color, it’s wonderful flavors tease the palette into a moderately long finish.
