He said: Chilled for 30-minutes before opening. Crystal clear, very light salmon color. Strong floral and apple aromas. Lively, zesty, tart apple and strawberry taste that quickly goes into a lingering dry fruit finish. From mid-palate to the end of the very long finish it explodes with flavor and crispness. OUTSTANDING!!! This is GREAT rosè at a BARGAIN price.
She said: When Ray brought a bottle of rosè to the table for tonight’s dinner I thought he was nuts. As it turned out he was right on the money. With its green apple flavor it was delicious with the chicken and pasta and stood up to the salad. The creaminess on the palate lasted into the long finish and was unique and exquisite. What a fabulous bargain wine at only $12.60!!!
Comments: The 2014 lists the grape blend as 70% Zweiget, 20% Blauifrankisch and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and the price increased to $13,50. It was as good or better than the 2013 with its clean, elegant taste; a VERY easy drinking Rose that’s still a fantastic value for the price.
