He said: Chilled before drinking. Deep pink-salmon color. Rich musty strawberry and watermelon aromas. Fresh crisp taste with lots of tart fruit flavors with nice acidity and a long, dry minerality with hints of grapefruit that goes on and on in the finish. The great bouquet, strong flavors yet light and lively drinking make for an excellent value at only $12.60 As it warmed…close to room temperature, it grew more like a traditional delicious French Rose. Nice Rioja Rosé that’s a SUPER value.
She said: Peach color and clear with well spaced speedy legs. The first taste was disappointing but since I had work to do on the computer I put it aside and came back to it. Good decision! This is a rose that should be consumed at room temperature or near to it as it developed aroma and flavor that were lacking when it was cold. The aroma was fruity with a bit of sweetness, the mouth was full for a Rosé, and teeming with flavor. Fairly acidic, the wine ended with a long flavorful finish and a touch of tartness. At $12.60 and room temperature this is a great bargain wine.
