Chilled before drinking. Clear, light salmon color. Green olives, fresh cut bell peppers, citrus, cherry and red current aromas. Smooth entry, dry with a slightly spicy mouthfeel, light body and 400-grit texture. Very flavorful with lots of fruity citrus, Florida grapefruit and cherry tastes with a persistent background of metallic mineral. Wonderful fresh edgy acidity and a long tart and fruity finish. WOW, smooth, easy drinking rose that was a versatile summer patio sipper, VERY inexpensive and should be a hit with a wide range of wine drinkers. The first taste seemed off-dry, but as we sipped it we called it dry. We first had this at an Undercurrent Restaurant Rose wine tasting event and we picked it out of the five wines presented as a fantastic value…and it didn’t disappoint when we had it at home. The strong citrus core was unique and separated it from other inexpensive rose we drink. It was a great week-night rose that was bright, fruity and had just the right amount of sweetness on a warm summer evening.
