He said: Chilled before drinking. Just a tad of cloudiness, UNUSUAL dark watermelon color. Damp cave, forest floor and strawberry aromas. Smooth, slight creaminess, yeast notes and considerable spiciness; abundant fresh acidity, packed with mineral and mouth-filling ripe berries that just go on and on through the very long vibrant finish. Good Rosé?…no OUTSTANDING Rosé!!! The lively acidity and delicious spice really make it special. Two thumbs up from me on this one
She said: This wine has a rose color to die for! I am amazed it sits on the shelf for more than an hour it is so appealing. It was also cloudy and had a few irregular slow moving legs. The aroma was full of a yeast scent which possibly explains the cloudiness of the wine. No problem. The taste featured red berry flavors with a hint of mineral and the mouth-feel was smooth, dry, and medium bodied. The finish was long and carried through the flavor and dryness. Delicious with the fruit and I would have it again; a quality wine at $18.
