He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, pale salmon color. Strawberry, raspberry, cherry and hints of wet leather aromas. Fairly smooth with bright fruit taste and a long slightly tart finish. WOW…at $8.99 this Rose has a LOT going for it. Nice Rosé bouquet, excellent crisp acidity, rich fruit flavors, on the dry side and just the right tartness in the finish; it did however have a slight metallic after-taste. At this price it gets two thumbs up from me…it’s a FANTASTIC bargain Rosé that we enjoyed very much. It easily goes into our Quality wine at a Bargain price category and is near the top of the list for this price point…and I’m going back to the store and buy all they have before I post this review!!!
She said: Clear, brightly sparkling apricot color. This has to be one of the all time great grocery store wine bargains. It had a delightful light red fruit aroma and taste with a smooth crisp mouth-feel and pleasing acidity. The finish was long and continues the flavors to the end with a touch of metallic flavor in the after-taste. It went with the soup and was delicious sipping after the dinner. This is a true bargain wine at only $8.99 and I would recommend it and buy it again in a flash.
