Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, purple/ruby color with the same color rim. Wonderful aromas of fresh plowed sod, raspberry, ripe cherry and new leather. A slight edge on entry, dry, slightly rustic and juicy mouthfeel, light to medium body and a 100-grit texture. Raspberry, cherry, cranberry and enervated tastes of mineral flavors. Medium, well balanced acidity, soft tannins and a long fresh and raspberry tasting finish. WOW, after the first pour we both said the aroma alone was worth the price of the wine!!! Actually this was a fun, fruity and easy drinking light red wine. It went well with the dinner and was delicious sipping without food after the meal…and it’s a great value.
