Opened one hour before drinking. Clear light purple and ruby color with the same color rim. Strong blackberry, strawberry, sweet tobacco and fresh leather aromas. Dry Spicy mouthfeel, medium body and 150 grit texture. Lusty blackberry, raspberry, cherry and sage flavors with an occasional trace of raisin. Plentiful acidity, fine-grained yet grippy tannins and a powerful mouthwatering spicy finish. WOW, different from the usual bold Turkey Zinfandel, lighter weight, rich lively flavors, just a tad of sweetness and lots of grit in the tannins. Perfect paired with the Mexican dinner, superb sipping without food after the dinner. This really shined with the delicious dusty fruit tastes and luscious tannins. Another NOTEWORTHY Turkey Zinfandel that was a absolute steal at $28.
